This morning I was officially sworn in as the Parliamentary Secretary for the Minister of Indigenous Services, Patty Hajdu.
Ever since I first decided to run for politics, my inspiration has always been my amazing children, and the First Nations youth and communities that mean so much to me and helped shape who I am.
I dreamed of having the chance to make meaningful change on a systemic level and to have the voices of indigenous leadership from our territory heard on the national stage. I am beyond grateful to be able to join the team at Indigenous Services Canada to keep moving forward on realizing true reconciliation.
The challenge is great, but the possibilities are greater. Everything I do is for Fredericton-Oromocto.
Thank you to everyone who has believed in me and supported me throughout this journey.
