ACOA & BIS AGENTS
We recommend that all businesses, no matter the size, in the Atlantic Region connect with ACOA (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency), as not only do they frequently have funding opportunities for a wide variety of purposes but they can also provide business owners with a variety of services.
In addition to many opportunities, ACOA can also provide you with a Business Information Services (BIS) Agent. Business Information Services – Canada.ca, and this link you can find a comprehensive list of things they can help with. ACOA recommends that you connect with a BIS agent before submitting any applications to them to ensure that you are following the correct pathway and not missing any information.
